Getting ready for ASCENT?  Here is everything you need to know to make sure your group is ready.

Here is everything you need to know about what to bring to ASCENT. Feel free to send this to your group.  Try to remember to pack your trailer or bus with one side, males and the other females, since there will be two drop-off locations based on gender.  Please bring pillow and bedding (the camp only provides a mattress).

At dinner each night, there will be a unique and fun theme.  Campers and counselors will be encouraged to dress up according to the dinner them, which will also correspond with that evening’s late-night party.  Encourage your group (including leaders) to pack their outfits.

The final deadline for registration is May 19 (after that, there is no guarantee that spots will be available).  Please make sure all leaders AND students have registered by this date.  If you need any registration changes, please contact us at info@usmbnextgen.com.

  • Check-in starts at 3 pm on Sat. June 8.  Your group may arrive before then, but no meals will be provided.  We do not accommodate arrivals earlier than Sat. June 8
  • Camp W.O.W. address is 8256 Diagonal 1500 Rd Stuart, OK 74570
  • When you arrive, drive to the cafeteria (turn left when you first enter the camp)

There is an optional swim test for ALL campers at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. The test is to ensure that all campers avoid wearing a life jacket while swimming.  Anyone can swim, but without passing the test, they must wear a life jacket.  This is the only time the test will take place; please plan accordingly.

ASCENT staff will assign dorm locations for each church, separating genders.  Due to the size of most of the dorms plan for all males and all females to be in the same door (up to 20 bunk beds in each door).  Please prepare your group by enforcing a quiet time after 11 pm so as not to disturb other campers.

NEW!  Camp W.O.W. offers a snack shack where campers can purchase items like food, drinks, candy, ice cream, t-shirts, and more.  Campers are free to bring cash or pre-purchase a “Cash Card” with a select amount on the card (campers will pick up their pre-purchased card when they arrive).  The card is optional and only needed if the camper doesn’t want to carry cash.
