Registration & Cost

Early Bird Deadline will be April 1st, 2024:  (price goes up $50 after that)
$345 per student (anyone in high school)
$200 per adult leader (anyone post high school)

Final deadline will be May 19, 2024.  Registration will be closed after this date.  

Payment for registration will be handled by the local church. NO PAYMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLINE.  Each church must send ONE total payment for their group via check and postmarked NO LATER than before ASCENT.  We closed registration on May 19 to give each church three weeks to send in their check.  An invoice will be sent to each church after May 19th.

TIPS IN REGISTERING:
- The price in your cart will be different than your church's total (and you pay NOTHING online, payment is to your church)
- For families registering make sure you "add to cart" each person going, to move on to the next page
- Each person will choose an "interactive track" to attend (you can change once at ASCENT)
- All forms must be filled out (but information is saved from year to year)

 

DISCOUNTS:

Discounts vary from year to year.  Included this year is the "sibling discount" of $10 off per student attending.  So a family of 3 attending ASCENT (or if you're in the Southern District) kids and junior high camp you will be getting $30 off in total.  

NEW! 7 HOUR WINDOW TRAVEL SUBSIDY:

Due to changing of camp locations this year to Stuart, OK we now have the ability to offer a travel subsidy for any church who is outside the "7 hour window" from Camp W.O.W.  Which means if your church is located 7+ hours away from camp W.O.W. you will receive $50 off per student & adult.  Spots are limited and only the first 100 participants will receive this subsidy. To qualify for this subsidy all participants must register by the early bird deadline of April 1st, 2024.  If you have any questions please contact us.  To apply for the subsidy just email us at info@usmbnextgen.com by April 1st.  

 

ADULT LEADERS - CHILD-ABUSE AWARENESS TRAINING

SAFETY is of paramount importance at any event like ASCENT. For this reason, USMB NextGen REQUIRES any person (outside of high school) who will be 18-years-of-age and over before attending any ASCENT camps, to complete a Child Abuse Awareness Training online as part of the camp’s Child Protection Plan. They must complete this 45 minute online training prior to arriving at ASCENT every two years.  

Additionally, every year all adults are also required to have a criminal background check completed prior to attending the conference.

How Will The Training Work?

Upon registration, an email from a website called ministrysafe.com will be sent with instructions and a link to the online course. Each person must complete a short 10 question quiz after viewing several short video segments. This online course will take approximately 45 minutes. Again, this is an every other year requirement (starting with your first year).  

What if I have already done this?

A background check is still required, However, if you have completed this training or a similar course within this past year, a copy of your completed certificate will exempt you from retaking the online course this year.  

For Changes Or For More Questions:

Register early! We will NOT be able to guarantee room arrangements for registrations or changes in registration after May 19, 2024.  That is the final deadline to register.  Each church is allowed to many any changes to their registration list (drop outs, add ons, etc.) before then for free.  After May 19th, 2024 any cancelations or changes may result in an adjustment/cancelation fee.  Any changes before the early bird deadline will not result in a fee.
