By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted them.

Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including but not limited to: travel and accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and Ascent shall have no liability for such costs.

By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant Ascent and USMB the right to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media format now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. You acknowledge and agree that Ascent, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.

Ascent seeks to provide a Christ-centered environment that is free from:

  • Possession and/or use of drugs (including marijuana), alcohol and tobacco products.

  • Sexual harassment and/or sexual misconduct.

We expect all Event registrants, volunteers, and exhibitors to abide by all local, state, and federal law, Event facility guidelines, observe the Event schedule, respect all requests from Ascent staff and observe event curfews. It is our hope that students and leaders attending the Event serve as models to others of maturity, thoughtfulness, gratefulness, and Christ-likeness.  Leaders bringing students to Ascent are expected to enforce these guidelines with their own students and immediately make Ascent staff aware of any concerns with other students, adults, or groups.

Requirements of Each Registrant

Ascent expects registrants to be respectful of the great diversity represented from within the Christian community at the Event— ethnic backgrounds, race, etc. It is our desire the Event and all attendee’s model unity and Christ-like attitudes and behavior in all settings. Should a registrant choose not to abide by these guidelines, Ascent has the option to contact the group leader, local police, parents and church or ministry leadership and/or refuse further access to Ascent. It will be the responsibility of the group leader or parents to supervise and/or transport the registrant home at their own expense.
