We are thrilled to announce our speaker and worship band for our upcoming national camp for high school students, ASCENT. This year, we have the privilege of hosting Justin McRoberts, a renowned author, coach, speaker, and songwriter, and Wonderstate, a high-energy worship band hailing from Minneapolis. Both will be at our new camp location of Camp W.O.W. in Stuart, Oklahoma.
Meet Justin McRoberts
Justin McRoberts has been guiding artists, ministers, and entrepreneurs on their paths for over 20 years. As an author of six books, including the upcoming “Sacred Strides” (May 2023), Justin shares his wisdom and experiences through compelling narratives that inspire and challenge his readers. His expertise as a minister and artist allows him to provide valuable insights to individuals and teams, helping them navigate the complexities of their creative processes. We are excited about what he brings to the table for theme Ryhthm.
When he’s not writing, speaking, or coaching, you can find Justin hosting the At Sea Podcast, where he explores various facets of life, faith, and art. Introducing Wonderstate
Our new worship band, Wonderstate, brings a wave of indie pop infused with a tinge of rock flare to ASCENT 2024. Formed in 2016, this high-energy group from Minneapolis is known for their infectious love for Jesus and positive vibes. They’ve toured across different parts of the United States, connecting with listeners by sharing their passion for meaningful music and creating fun, accepting atmospheres.
Wonderstate has had the privilege of working with and opening for various artists, including Tenth Avenue North, One Republic, Tyler Hubbard, Walk the Moon, Yam Haus, Mike Donehey, Land of Color, Unspoken, and Britt Nicole.
