We are so excited to officially announce the speaker and worship band for this year’s national camp for high school students, ASCENT. Our team has been working behind the scenes to create an unforgettable camp experience, carefully designing every element to meet teenagers where they are today. From current issues to spiritual growth, this year’s camp is all about providing a space for students to connect with God, find clarity, and leave inspired. Our planning team has worked tirelessly to ensure this year’s ASCENT is relevant, engaging, and biblically sound. Every detail, from the theme to the speakers and band, has been selected with heart and purpose. We want every student to feel seen, challenged and strengthened in their walk with Christ by the time the week comes to an end.
AARON BOX
USMB National Director (This is the first time a national director has been one of our speakers!)
Aaron Box serves as the National Director for the USMB, working to unite more than 200 churches that speak 12 languages around the mission of making disciples of Jesus, developing leaders, and church multiplication.
Aaron has a passion for seeing young people respond to God’s call upon their lives and has spent more than two decades in ministry, serving as a Youth Pastor, Church Planter, Missionary, and Lead Pastor. In his free time, you can often find Aaron rafting, snowboarding, rock climbing, and exploring the mountains and rivers of the Northwest. Aaron and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and reside in Eugene, Oregon.
AMY RATZLAFF
Associate Professor of Health & Human Performance and Director of Global Sports Leadership
Amy Ratzlaff is an associate professor in the Health and Human Performance Department at Tabor College and the MBA program director in sports management and global sports leadership. With 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, she combines her passion for athletics with a deep commitment to helping others grow personally and professionally. Amy holds a Ph.D. in Performance Psychology and is dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential in alignment with God’s purpose for their lives. She is married to Damian, and together, they have four children and two spoiled dogs.
