Free Youth Ministry Training

Where you’re at in youth ministry right now — both the challenges you’re facing and the areas where you feel confident. What feels heavy or unclear? Where do you wish you had more training, support, or perspective? At the same time, what’s going well? What strengths or skills do you feel are already in your wheelhouse?

USMB Nextgen’s goal is to help connect you with meaningful youth ministry continuing education and professional development — whether that’s articles, training resources, conversations, or cohorts. We want those resources to be genuinely helpful and relevant, not just more content to consume.

Feel free to sign up for both as well!

Youth Ministries Realities: Conversational and Relationship-Centered

This cohort is relationship-based and conversational, designed to connect youth pastors and anyone who works with youth in the local church—including volunteers and small group leaders. Together, we’ll engage in honest, meaningful discussions around the real-life realities of youth ministry. Sessions will be shaped by your questions, experiences, and current challenges as we explore topics most relevant to the group. The goal is to build meaningful relationships, process ministry honestly, and support one another in a trusted and encouraging space.

Youth Ministries Training: Structured and Skilled-Centered

This cohort is structured and skill-focused, built around eight sessions covering eight core youth ministry topics. Designed for both new and seasoned youth pastors and youth workers, the emphasis is on learning, sharpening tools, and developing practical skills you can apply directly in your ministry context. 2. Programming & Strategy
