FRIDAY'S WORKSHOPS

 (2:00pm & 3:30pm)

TRUE IDENTITY (@Gazebo 1 |  2pm & 3:30pm)

This workshop will focus on our identity, who we believe ourselves to be, and how God identifies us as his children. Come, join us for an activity that will allow you to understand how you view yourself and learn your true identities in Christ.

Led By: Donya Anderson Admissions counselor from Tabor College

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY PLANS FOR MY LIFE BLOW UP? (@Gazebo 2 |  2pm & 3:30pm)

Do we truly trust that God is sovereign? There's nothing wrong with having plans and dreams for our lives, but how do we respond when God takes us on a different path than we expected?

Led By: Grant Shewey, youth pastor at Hillsboro MB in Hillsboro KS.

OUR 15-SECOND TESTIMONY (@Gazebo 3 |  2pm & 3:30pm)

It's a good practice to condense your story into a small time frame. Of course you can elaborate, but what are the elements of your personal story? Let's figure it out together!

Led By: Stephen Humber from Multiply

“NOMADLAND,” WILDERNESS, AND LEVITICUS (@Gazebo 4 | 2pm & 3:30pm)

In each of our lives we have various experiences of the "wilderness." This wilderness may come from transitions or trauma; it may be isolated to our own life or be global wilderness experience. After a year where everything changed in an instant, I don't think we should be surprised that a film like "Nomadland," which speaks directly to our "untethered" time, cleaned up at the Oscars. Come explore the wilderness with me, why it is relevant in the year's biggest film, our lives, and what an ancient book of obscure laws has to say about it. Whether you've seen the movie or not, you are welcome to come explore.

WORLD AT WAR  (@Gazebo 5 |  2pm & 3:30pm)

Walk into this interactive workshop where you and your friends will be assigned a country with an urgent task to complete!  How will you respond?  When also given a monumental task, Jesus' disciples stepped up, and so can you.

Led By: DJ Toelle and Kyle Goings. M.B. youth pastors and co-hosts of Embrace the Awkward Podcast.

SATURDAY’S WORKSHOPS

 (11:50am & 2:00pm)

UNDERSTANDING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS (@Gazebo 1 |  11:50am & 2:00pm)

ave you ever thought why you are wired the way you are wired? Do you know that you carry a special gift that is intended to help you flourish in the Kingdom of God? In this workshop, we will examine how you can know what spiritual gift you carry and how the enemy uses tailor-made warfare in your life to stop you from using your gift for the glory of King Jesus.

Led By: Jared Menard, youth pastor of Hesston MB Church, Hesston, KS

IDENTITY:THE WORLD vs. THE WORD (@Gazebo 2 |  11:50am & 2:00pm)

Can you tell other people who you are without only telling them things that you've done? We'll look at who the world says we should be versus who God's Word says we are.

Led By: Grant Shewey, youth pastor at Hillsboro MB in Hillsboro KS

3 Circles Gospel Illustration (@Gazebo 3 |  11:50am & 2:00pm)

It's good skill to be able to explain the core elements of the Gospel. There are different ways to do that. We'll learn how to express it through a simple drawing.

Led By: Stephen Humber from Multiply

YOU ARE MEANT FOR MORE THAN THIS (@Gazebo 4 | 11:50am & 2:00pm)

Join us as we will talk about finding our identity in Jesus, not in the world of social media.  We will address issues that phones present in hindering finding true identity and how things like trolling, sexting and constant distraction damage us in ways that we don’t begin to understand.

Led By: Cord Werth, youth pastor from Parkview Church, Hillsboro, KS.

THE WAY I’M WIRED (@Gazebo 5 | 11:50am & 2:00pm)

This is for YOU and YOUR FRIENDS! Find out: why you get along with some people but not others, how to effectively get your point across to all people, know what jobs, clubs and future would be best for You...and more. Interactive and fun.
