INTERACTIVE TRACKS

These are interactive activities where campers sign up and participate.  Tracks, unlike workshops, are designed to go outside the classroom setting.  The goal is to see how the Kingdom of God connects to everyday hobbies and interests.  When you register for ASCENT, you will be given the opportunity to choose one option from the tracks listed. Tracks are subject to change. You will not necessarily be locked into that track, but some have limited space and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis with priority to those who are able to sign up first online.

Disc Golf

Grab your discs and hit the course for a fun, interactive track where strategy, skill, and friendly competition come together in a round of disc golf.

Writing & Journaling

Each person will be provided a journal to write their thoughts on God and his creation.  Throughout this track, you will relax and have a chance to be creative with various topics and writing activities.

Card Making

Dive into the world of paper crafting, a hands-on experience where you'll learn to create personalized, dimensional cards. Utilizing a variety of supplies and techniques, this track not only teaches you the art of card making but also lets you express your creativity and make something truly unique that stands out. 

Painting

Have you ever had a chance to paint in nature?  To use your gifts to show His beauty and truth to the world.  Whether you consider yourself an artist or not this could be a track for you.  No experience is required all paint supplies will be provided.

Jam Session

Immerse yourself in our musical jam session, a vibrant gathering where musicians of all levels come together to create spontaneous, harmonious melodies. It's a unique opportunity to hone your musical skills, express your creativity, and connect with fellow music enthusiasts in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Basketball

One-on-one, five-on-five, or a simple game of knockout, this track is for people who love God and basketball.  We will see how we can use our passions for the glory of God.  All skills are welcome!

Photography

Explore your passion for capturing moments and telling stories through visuals.  This track helps you master the art of creating stunning images and how you can highlight the work of God's kingdom in the world. 

Board Games

A playful and interactive time designed to explore the fascinating world of strategic and cooperative games. Not only will you learn the rules and tactics of various board games, but you'll also experience the joy of friendly competition, critical thinking, and social interaction that these timeless games offer.

Join the thrill of the game!  Designed to cater to both beginners and experienced players.  You'll get hands-on experience, learn some new strategies, and have some fun!  Join us to showcase your new skills and enjoy the spirit of competition!
