Everything you need to know about Project:Serve

  • For students to embrace what a biblical call to serve means
  • For students to own a true heart for service as they grow in their faith
  • For students to engage their local communities in developing service opportunities

Any current high school student that is involved in their local church's youth group.

Student’s projects will be considered for grants ranging from $150 - $1,000 depending on the vision, quality, and budget needs of their service projects. All grant awarded will be sent to the local church that is supporting the project.

All projects submitted for evaluation must have an adult leader assigned to them and must be approved by the churches youth pastor.

Upon decision by the committee on how much grant money will be awarded to each project; the funds will be sent directly to the churches youth pastor. This process could take up to 60 days.

No, however we will prioritize participating churches within our districts.

All participants in the project must be in High School as of August 2018, this includes incoming freshman.

We believe it is important for all projects to have an adult supervisor engaged in the project from the developmental stages to the launch. This provides the necessary support to the students and shows the church is also invested in the project.

Change youth groups, just kidding. It is not our desire to create tension between students and leaders on these projects, which is why we ask for your church and youth pastor/leaders full support on projects upon submission.

No, it all depends on the number of requests and funds available.  The earlier you apply the better.

Simple answer is no.  Each project will need to submit a budget for their project upon initial approval and then will be audited to reconcile all spending from the given grant.  However, we understand how situations change and if the project needs to change then we are willing to meet with you and work it out.
